Baoase House Rules

To preserve the tranquility, privacy, and comfort that define Baoase Luxury Resort, we kindly ask you to take note of the following house rules and resort policies during your stay.

Check In & Check Out

• Check-in is available from 4:00 PM onwards, while check-out is at 12:00 PM.
• Upon arrival, we kindly request a valid passport or ID for each registered guest, together with a credit card or cash deposit.
• Guests are warmly invited to continue enjoying the resort facilities after check-out for the remainder of the day.
• Late check-out until 6:00 PM may be arranged based on availability for 50% of the nightly accommodation rate.
• Should you prefer not to secure a late check-out, we will gladly assist with storing your luggage, and you are welcome to refresh in our Health Club before departing for the airport.
• Departures after 6:00 PM will be subject to an additional night charge.

Housekeeping & Comfort

• Your accommodation is thoughtfully refreshed each day by our housekeeping team, including evening turndown service.
• Should you prefer privacy at any moment, kindly use the “Do Not Disturb” sign provided outside your accommodation.
• As part of our commitment to mindful hospitality, we encourage you to place only used towels or linens in the designated laundry basket.
• Should you wish to have fresh bedding during your stay, our housekeeping team will gladly assist.
• We also kindly ask you to switch off lights, televisions, air-conditioning, and water faucets when not in use, as both water and energy remain valuable resources on Curaçao.

Outside Food & Beverages

• To maintain the experience and standards of the resort, outside food and beverages are not permitted within Baoase, unless you are staying in an accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen.
• Any external food or beverages brought onto the property may be subject to corkage or preparation fees.

Restaurants & Dining Experience

• Our restaurants are designed to offer an elegant and relaxed atmosphere for all guests.
• We kindly request appropriate resort attire. Clothing that is overly revealing or sheer may result in denied entry or service at management’s discretion.
• To ensure a comfortable experience for all guests:
  • Children under the age of 12 must remain accompanied by an adult at all times
  • Alcoholic beverages are exclusively served to guests aged 18 years and older
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted
  • Guests are welcome to capture personal moments at their own table
  • Photography or filming of other guests is not permitted
  • Professional equipment, flash photography, or additional lighting may only be used with prior approval

Room Service & Ice

• A delivery fee of USD 10 applies per room service order.
• Accommodations without an in-room ice machine receive one complimentary ice bucket daily. Additional ice may be requested through Room Service free of charge or collected at the bar.

Electricity

• All accommodations feature 220V European outlets, with selected accommodations additionally offering 110V US outlets.
• Adapters and converters are available through the Front Office. Baoase cannot be held responsible for damages caused by the incorrect use of electrical appliances.

Air Conditioning & Water Usage

• Each accommodation is equipped with air-conditioning for your comfort.
• Before leaving your accommodation, we kindly ask you to switch off the air-conditioning and ensure water taps are fully closed.
• Tap water on Curaçao is of excellent quality and safe to drink.

Smoking & Illegal Substances

• Smoking is not permitted inside accommodations. Ashtrays are provided in designated outdoor areas.
• The use of illegal substances or disruptive intoxication is strictly prohibited. Any damages or deep cleaning required as a result of smoking or substance use will incur additional charges.

Pool & Lagoon Guidelines

• The main swimming pool is open daily from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Please note that no lifeguard is on duty.
• Use of the swimming pool and lagoon is entirely at your own risk.
• To preserve a calm and safe environment:
  • The pool is reserved exclusively for resort guests
  • Diving, jumping, or topless swimming is not permitted
  • Guests are kindly asked to rinse off before entering the pool
  • Glassware, food, and beverages are not allowed in the pool area
  • Children under 12 must remain supervised by an adult at all times
• Guests swimming beyond the protected lagoon area are kindly asked to remain mindful of natural sea conditions, including currents, rocks, and marine life.
• Baoase Luxury Resort cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings within the pool or lagoon areas.

Wildlife & Pets

• Pets and service animals are unfortunately not permitted on property.
• We also kindly ask you not to feed local wildlife.

Photography & Commercial Use

• Commercial photography, filming, or content creation on the property requires prior approval from management in order to safeguard the privacy and experience of all guests.

Quiet Hours

• To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of Baoase, we kindly ask you to keep noise levels to a minimum between 10:30 PM and 7:00 AM.
• Private events or gatherings within accommodations or public spaces are only permitted with prior approval from management.

Respectful Conduct

• Baoase is a place of serenity and mutual respect.
• Aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior toward guests or staff will not be tolerated.
• We kindly ask you to remain on designated walkways and avoid entering gardens or restricted areas that are not part of your accommodation.
• Please make use of the trash receptacles and ashtrays provided throughout the resort.

Outside Visitors

• Registered outside visitors are welcome until 10:00 PM and must check in with Security and Reception upon arrival.
• A maximum of four outside visitors per accommodation is permitted.
• Visitors wishing to enjoy resort facilities, including the beach, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, or kayaks, are kindly requested to purchase a beach package of USD 50 per adult through  Baoase Culinary Beach Restaurant.

Responsibility & Liability

• We kindly ask you to take good care of resort property and equipment throughout your stay.
• While every effort is made to provide a safe and comfortable environment, Baoase Luxury Resort cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, theft, loss of personal belongings, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Failure to comply with resort policies or guidelines may result in removal from the property without refund, as well as the cancellation of future reservations.
