After you receive your wholehearted ‘yes’, you can choose from a wide selection of dinner options at Baoase Culinary Beach Restaurant. Executive Chef René Klop and his culinary team create mesmerizing dishes with subtle tropical and Asian influences by using modern cooking techniques. Together with the impeccable service and paradise ambiance, it will be the perfect sequel to your special moment. You can also choose one of our Romantic & Private Dining options.
PRIVATE DINNER & HEART
Arriving at Baoase around sunset time (06:00 PM – 06:30 PM), your partner is led to believe he/she will be having a nice dinner at our Baoase Culinary Beach Restaurant.
Upon arrival at the beach bar, the waiter will guide you to your private location on the beach. While approaching the lagoon, a big heart surrounded with rose petals and the words “will you marry me” written in the sand will become visible.
This wedding proposal package is possible either in combination with a Private Gazebo set up or a Romantic Picnic.
ROMANTIC PHOTOSHOOT PROPOSAL
Indulge in a truly unforgettable and romantic experience at the exquisite Baoase resort. Your adventure begins between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, ensuring that you and your partner are both beautifully dressed for a memorable occasion. While your partner believes that you’re there for a delightful beach photoshoot, the hidden secret behind the evening adds an extra layer of excitement.
Upon your arrival, a dedicated proposal planner will be discreetly waiting at the entrance to warmly welcome you. Little does your partner know, the proposal planner is there to guide you to an enchanting surprise that’s about to unfold. As you both make your way to the restaurant, your partner remains blissfully unaware of the magic in store.
As part of the romantic photoshoot experience, you have the option to enhance your evening by choosing a charming gazebo setting for your dinner. You can opt for a romantic gazebo or elevate your experience to a private pier gazebo. This choice allows you to customize your proposal to suit your preferences, adding an extra touch of enchantment to your special night.
LOCAL FISHERMAN
You and fiancé-to-be will be relaxing at one of the most beautiful and romantic oases of the Caribbean. Surrounded by palm trees while hearing the whispering of the sea, you both slowly watch the sun set into the lagoon.
While enjoying a drink, a fisher boat will moor in the lagoon at sunset time (06:00 PM – 06:30 PM). The local fisherman steps out of his boat and walks kindly towards the both of you sitting on the beach. He introduces himself and says that he is here because he found a package in the sea with your partner’s name on it. Your loved one will be very surprised and opens the box.
This is the moment where you propose. While the fisherman leaves unnoticed, we will bring you two glasses of champagne – or any other drink of choice – to toast on this special moment. Of course, the storyline could be customized to fit your preferences.
This proposal package includes a private sunset lounge area on the beach, fresh garden flowers, torches, and – of course – a fisherman
that brings the box with your engagement ring. After the proposal you can dine at our private pier gazebo.
Your Baoase proposal planner will be there to coordinate the timing during and before the proposal.
SPARKLING PROPOSAL
Arriving at Baoase around sunset time (06:00 PM – 06:30 PM), your partner is led to believe he/she will be having a nice dinner at our Baoase Culinary Beach Restaurant.
Upon arrival at the beach bar, the waiter will guide you to your private location on the beach. While approaching the lagoon, a big heart with the words “will you marry me” written in the sand will become visible. This is the moment where you propose, and while you are doing so, we will light up the fireworks – a spectacular moment for you and your loved one to never forget.
This wedding proposal package includes a private location (you can choose between a Private Romantic Gazebo or a Romantic Picnic) on the beach, a private area close to the sea with a big heart and a note written in the sand, fresh garden flowers and torches, fireworks and the coordination fee.
