Honored Once Again at the World Culinary Awards

A table by the Caribbean Sea. The sound of waves in the background. A dish prepared with care, served at just the right moment.

At Baoase Curaçao, dining has always been about more than what arrives at the table. It is about the setting, the people and the moments that unfold in between.

That experience has once again received a special recognition. Our Culinary Beach Restaurant has been named Curaçao’s Best Hotel Restaurant 2026 at the World Culinary Awards, following previous wins in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

From Morning to Evening

There is a certain rhythm to dining at Baoase.

Mornings begin slowly, with breakfast surrounded by tropical greenery. Afternoons invite long lunches overlooking the Caribbean Sea. As evening falls, the atmosphere becomes more intimate, with the gentle sound of waves in the background.

Each part of the day brings something different to the table. Fresh ingredients, thoughtfully composed dishes and flavors that invite you to linger just a little longer.

But while the surroundings create the atmosphere, it is the people who bring it all to life.

The People Behind the Recognition 

Behind every dish is a team that takes pride in its craft. Chefs who bring creativity and precision to the kitchen, and colleagues who know when to offer a recommendation, remember a preference or simply give guests the space to enjoy their time together.

Receiving this award for the fourth time is a meaningful acknowledgment of their dedication, and of the passion they bring to our restaurant each day.

But the story would not be complete without the people who take a seat at our tables.  To our guests, thank you for choosing to share these moments with us. For the conversations, the celebrations and the memories made along the way.
