This year’s Vive la Gastronomie was more than a culinary celebration — it was a heartfelt tribute to Jonnie Boer, one of the world’s most visionary chefs.
Over three unforgettable evenings, from July 30 to August 3, renowned chefs from De Librije, Inter Scaldes, Zarzo, Brass Boer (Curacao & Bonaire), and Baoase Luxury Resort in Curaçao came together in Curaçao and Bonaire to honor Jonnie’s legacy. Each crafted an exceptional six-course menu inspired by his most cherished dishes — a tribute not just in flavor, but in spirit, reflecting the creativity, passion, and craftsmanship Jonnie brought to every plate.

A Legacy Served with Love
The evenings unfolded at Brass Boer Curaçao, Baoase Luxury Resort, and Brass Boer Bonaire. Every course carried a story — memories from time spent with Jonnie, dishes once created together, and flavors that spoke of friendship and respect.
