How can I get to Baoase Luxury Resort?

Baoase is approximately 15 – 20 minutes (14km) located from the airport by car. Baoase offers luxury transfer service from and to Baoase. Please contact Guest Relations for more information about this service (guestrelations@baoase.com).

If you rented a car on the airport and wish to drive to Baoase yourself, we suggest you to use google maps or use the Curacaoroad maps provided at the service desk of your car rental.

How can I make a reservation?

What are the opening times for your restaurant?

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the following times:

Breakfast: 07:00AM – 11:00AM
Lunch: 12:00PM – 04:00PM
Dinner: 07:00PM – 10:00PM

Is smoking allowed at the resort?

Smoking is allowed outside in the designated areas.

Is the resort wheelchair accessible?

No, the resort is not wheelchair accessible

Are there Spa & Wellness services at the resort?

A wide range of spa services are available to enjoy in your own private villa, suite or in the Massage Gazebo. Furthermore, we provide different hand and feet treatments and aloe body packages.

Is there a parking lot for resort- and restaurant guests?

Yes, a secured parking lot is available for resort- and restaurant guests

Are children allowed at the resort?

Yes, we are more than happy to welcome families at Baoase Luxury Resort.

Does Baoase Luxury Resort offer an all-inclusive package?

Because Baoase Luxury Resort is located in a residential area in close proximity of the resort, there are about 30 restaurants only 5 minutes by taxi from the resort. This is the reason why we do not heavily promote all-inclusive packages. However, for the guests that would like to enjoy the exquisite culinary creations of Baoase Culinary Beach Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, we have created a special Modified All-Inclusive Plan. How can I rent a car?

The easiest way to get around the island is by car – either by our local taxi service or by renting one through Baoase. We can assist you in renting a car prior to your arrival to guarantee availability, but it can also be requested during your stay. No need to stand in any lines when renting through Baoase – the car rental company will come to the resort.

Do you have a dresscode?

Baoase dress code is casual and requires appropriate wear. You are required to wear a shirt in our beach bar and restaurant area. Dinner is slightly more formal describing the dress code as smart/elegant casual.

Can we use tap water to drink?

Tap water on Curacao is safe to drink – it is of the finest quality. Since 1928, a seawater distillery has produced top quality drinking water for the island. It contains no chloride and little calcium, is tasteless, odorless and has a good bacteriological composition. You can fill up your recyclable bottle at various points on the island and the resort.

What are the Curaçao entry requirements?

Generally, tourists holding a valid passport may enter Curaçao without a written permit and remain with us for a period of up to 90 days. However, several nationalities (e.g., Cuba, Haiti, Peru) must present a tourist visa as part of the entry requirements. A visa should be applied for at least one month in advance at any representation of the Netherlands (in the concerning country). US visitors require a passport to get back into the USA.

Nationals from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, China, and India do not need to apply for a visa if they are in possession of a valid multiple entry visa for the United States, Canada or the Schengen countries (Europe). As of July 1, 2015, Colombian nationals will not need a visa anymore to enter Curaçao. Tourists should be in possession of:

  • Valid passport
  • A return or outward ticket upon arrival
  • Su_cient funds for accommodations and food
  • The necessary documents for returning to the country of origin or further travel elsewhere
