Curaçao is seeing unprecedented levels of tourism in 2022, and that number will only increase next year with a new flight expansion by JetBlue. JetBlue is adding more flights to Curaçao from New York. The New York City-based carrier is adding more flights from New York to Curaçao in April, according to Caribbean Journal. On April 6th, the career will add two more weekly flights from New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport to Curaçao.
The Minister of Economic Development, Ruisandro Cijntje, stated:
“This is a significant achievement in order to continue to enhance our tourism industry in 2023 and consequently give an impulse to our economy. These additional flights will contribute towards growing the American market even more, after a great year in 2022.”
